Minister of Youth and Sports, Isaac Kwame Asiamah inspected the ongoing renovation works at the Accra Sports Stadium.Â
The Sports Minister visited the Accra sports stadium to have a conversation with National Sports Authority (NSA) officials with regards to the progress made to ensure the stadium's readiness to host the forthcoming women’s African under 20 tournament.
The renovation of the Accra Sports Stadium began midway last year.
The Sports Minister was sent around the stadium by the contractor and his team, where he was guaranteed on the time stipulated to ensure the readiness of the stadium to host the tournament.
He was delighted with the contractor and his team, he, therefore, urged the contractor to fulfill his promise.

The National Sports Authority and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) were entreated by the Sports Minister to ensure that every fault is fixed before the competition.
