Turkish Superlig side Göztepe are set to sign Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi from Astana.
Goztepe have been in talks with Astana for the services of Twumasi.
Twumasi is expected in the town of Izmir in the coming days to finalize his move.
Turkish tabloid Fanatic quoted Goztepe that they have almost reached an agreement with Twumasi and he could fly to Turkey to sign soon.
“We have been able to persuade Patrick Twumasi the player we wanted last season but could not get. The Ghanaian footballer is expected to come to Izmir for signature in the coming days.†the statement stated
The former Red Bull youth player joined Astana in 2015 and has made 101 appearances for the club with a return of 32 goals.
