The Black Meteors of Ghana have safely arrived in Egypt ahead of of the CAF U-23 AFCON which begins later this week.
The team left the shores of Ghana on Monday afternoon and touch down at the Cairo International Airport around 20:30GMT.
Coach Ibrahim Tanko’s side is expected to begin training in Cairo today ahead of their opening match.
This year's U-23 AFCON will be staged in Egypt and the tournament runs from 8-22 November. Ghana have been drawn in Group A with hosts Egypt, Mali and Cameroon.
After the Cameroon group opener on November 8, Ghana will next take on Mali and host Egypt on November 11 and 14 respectively.
The top three finishers at the final tournament will qualify to represent Africa at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Ghana is seeking a return to the competition since its last appearance in 2004 in the Athens Olympic Games.
