Morocco are the first team to reach the semi-finals of the 2023 U-23 AFCON.

They've reached the last four after making light work of lacklustre Black Meteors at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium on Tuesday.

Three first-half and two second-half goals saw the Moroccans humiliate the West African country 5-1 to make it two wins out of two.

They top Group A with 6 points followed by Guinea and Ghana with 3 points each while Congo lie bottom with 0 points.

The Black Meteors have it all to play for when they host Guinean in the final group game on Friday. A win will see them join Morocco in the semi-finals.

The winner and runner-ups of the tournament will qualify to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games Soccer competition in Paris.

The last time Ghana participated in the Olympic Games Men’s Soccer event was in 2004 in Athens.
