Abdul Aziz Musibau scored twice to propel the Black Satellites to a 2-0 victory over Niger in their second Group A match of the 2024 WAFU Zone B Championship.

Both teams entered the match looking to secure their first win after drawing their opening games, but the first half ended without any goals.

The Black Satellites started the second half strong but needed a spark to kickstart their offense. That spark came from forward Abdul Aziz Musibau.

In the 64th minute, Musibau unleashed a powerful volley from distance, giving the Black Satellites the lead and igniting the crowd as he celebrated his first goal.

But Musibau wasn’t finished yet. Nine minutes later, he made it 2-0 after receiving a pass in the box and calmly slotting the ball past the onrushing goalkeeper.

The final minutes of the match saw no further goals, and Ghana secured the 2-0 win, temporarily placing them at the top of Group A with 4 points.

Ghana will return to action on Wednesday, October 23, against hosts Togo.
