The official cloth for Ghana's 60th-anniversary celebration was today [Thursday], February 23, unveiled in Accra.Â
At the short ceremony, it was revealed that wholesalers would pay GHC220 for a full piece and in turn sell to the public at a price of GHC240.
The cloth comes in four different colours: white, cream, blue, and green with the 60th-anniversary logo embossed on each.
According to the spokesperson of the planning committee, Jefferson Sackey, they had put measures in place to ensure that the wholesalers would not hoard the cloth in order to hike the price.
