Born Livingstone Etse Satekla popularly known as Stonebwoy and goes with a baritone music descant ‘BHIM’ (Bless His Imperial Majesty).Â
After breaking onto the music scene, Stonebwoy has won many awards to his credit, from the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards to the BET Awards among others.
Stonebwoy's first radio hit, 'Makuma' (My Heart) was released in his second year at Senior High School, Methodist Day Secondary School with several others like 'Empress' gained him some underground popularity after school.
Stonebwoy after Senior High School was an underground rapper and with motivation from his family, appeared on a popular rap competition ‘’Kasahari Level’’ on Adom FM featuring Sarkodie, Yaa Pono, Dr. Cryme, among others and saw him knocking out several other rappers gaining himself underground popularity.Â
It was through these rap battles and his style of music which caught the eye of many music lovers.
The 31-years-old reggae/dancehall artiste released his debut album ‘’Grade 1 Album’’ under his Burniton Music Group Label in the year 2012, and made Stonebwoy a household name in the Ghanaian music industry.

He has since released two great albums, in addition, making three which are 'Necessary Evil' which won BASS Awards album of the Year in 2015 and 'Epistles of Mama' which is now one of the biggest reggae albums on iTunes.
Stonebwoy is recognized as one of the leading Reggae and Dancehall artists in Ghana with many awards to his credit.

Stonebwoy had his stars shining brightly in the year 2015Â
2015 was an epic year for Stonebwoy as he won the Ariste of the year at Vodafone Ghana Music Awards with his 'Necessary Evil' album.
Stonebwoy also became the second Ghanaian artiste to win the BET, Best International Act in 2015.Â
In the same year, Stonebwoy emerged the winner in the category of Best Reggae/Dancehall Video at the 2015 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).
He has also won 3 awards at the 2016 MTN 4Syte Music Video Awards.
Stonebwoy won the ‘Most Promising Act’ award at the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) 2016.
At the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2017, he picked the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the year.
Stonebwoy set an impressive record at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2018 by winning the Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year award for four years in a roll.

The Alumni of University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), in 2018 honoured Stonebwoy, for his numerous contribution to tourism, arts, and entertainment.
In 2018 he won an AFRIMA award for Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year.Â
Stonebwoy yesterday, March 24, 2019, made a huge record by becoming the first African Dancehall Artist to win the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards (KCA) Favourite African Star award.
Nickelodeon aired its 2019 Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday night March 23, held at the Galen Center in Los Angeles.
Stonebwoy has also bagged nine nominations at this years' 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards yet to be held in May 2019.
