One of the awardees of the 'fake honorary doctorate degree' from the Riches Theological College and Clergy Council, who the National Accreditation Board (NAB) cautioned not to refer themselves as such has removed pictures posted after the award on social media pages, particularly, Instagram.Â
Nana Yaa Brefo, who also presents the news on Adom TV and co-host the Adom TV’s morning show, Badwem, after receiving the 'fake honorary doctorate degree' splashed the pictures on her numerous social media pages. But moment after the warning by the NAB, the pictures have vanished.
PrimeNewsGhana earlier reported that the NAB has not accredited the Riches Theological College and Clergy Council to issue an honorary degree to individuals.Â

NAB in a statement signed by its Executive Director, Dr Kingsly Nyarko, cautioned dignitaries who have been awarded by the said institution with the so-called ‘honorary doctorate degrees’ to desist from using such titles to avoid exposing themselves to unnecessary embarrassments and ridicules.
Riches Theological College and Clergy Council within the month of August 2018, awarded two staff of Multimedia Group Limited, namely, Patrick Osei Agyemang, popularly known as Country Man Songo, who presents Fire-For-Fire on Adom TV and Asempa FM and Nana Yaa Brefo, who also presents the news on Adom TV and co-host the Adom TV’s morning show, Badwem.
