Ghanaian award-winning rapper Elom Adablah known by his stage name EL has asked DJs to stop playing his old songs or not play his songs at all.

Speaking on Adom FM, the rapper said he has special DJs who play his songs for him hence no need to ask for more DJs, and also all his fans who like listening to the radio should not come to his concert.

The ‘Kaalu’ hitmaker believes that the radio only plays his old songs so anyone who listens to the radio is archaic.

He further warned DJs not to tweet his old songs because he will pretend not to have seen them and not retweet them.

“I don’t like those nostalgic people who are living in the past, you can’t graduate, you can’t change your mind to anything, radio 'soor' you dey listen to. If you listen to the radio too much, don’t come to my concert,” rapper EL said.

“I have DJs who play my songs, they know my style, flex, and my vibes, and they know it all. They’re the ones who are going to be playing my music the rest I don’t care, don’t play my music, don’t play those old songs, and expect me to be retweeting it when you tweet at me,” he added.

"Don’t tweet at me, I don’t want to hear it, I don’t want to see it. I’m now the new EL, this is different, I’m different now, I’m on a different level so if you don’t relate to it or don’t understand it, don’t play my music and don’t expect me to engage with you and don’t come to my concert” he emphasised.

Recounting, earlier this month on Kastle FM EL said that, unlike the popular belief that musicians produce records for their followers, he makes music for himself and about what he feels, not what other individuals feel.

E.L. went on to say that he doesn’t go into the studio harbouring thoughts to make music to please the people.

“I am a Don for the game inside, and Ghanaians are privileged to have an artiste like me still repping for the industry.

I do music for me myself, and the reason why I put pen to paper is about what I feel, and I don’t think about what someone else may feel,” E.L said.

Meanwhile, E.L is currently promoting his 15 track album," BAR 6" ahead of his musical concert on December 18, 2021.
