Television presenter/producer and media consultant, Stacy Amoateng has resigned as the Executive Director of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) to take up a new role at Megastar International, a global record label.

Stacy Amoateng has been appointed as the International Director in charge of West & Central Africa, United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, Latina and Carribean Islands for the reputable record label.

Announcing her new move in a press release, Stacy noted that it saddened her heart to leave the media company after three years.

“I am excited to share this amazing news with you. I have been appointed International Director in charge of West & Central Africa, United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, Latina and Caribbean Islands for Megastar International.

“Though excited, it saddens my heart to end my service with Angel Broadcasting Network as its executive director. The past three years has been nothing but insightful and bittersweet along the line. The triumph and lessons bagged are priceless,” she said.

Stacy Amoateng also expressed her appreciation to Dr Kwaku Oteng for reposing confidence in her abilities to bring value to the ABN brand.

“Thanks to my big brother Dr. Oteng for believing in me to bring value to his brand and I am absolutely glad I did. Thanks to @bteflon who held my hand and walked through the breeze and fire with me. To the amazing team who believed in the vision, I say God bless you.

“To have a global call to serve beyond Ghana means every work put in was worth it. I believe by the grace of God, I will make Ghana proud with this global appointment,” she said.

Stacy Amoateng officially joined Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) on June 1, 2020, as the Executive Director after disclosing that she rejected the offer three times when she was first approached in 2016.

“It didn’t just happen, it took years for waiting on God to give the green light and I am humbled to join the Angel Broadcasting Network as Executive Director for radio and television. I thank the Almighty God for this grace,” she posted on her social media pages at the time.

Stacy Amoateng has been a strong figure in Ghana’s creative industry since she was featured in Taxi Driver in 2000.

In 2002, she hosted Talk Ghana on TV3 and later co -hosted Music Music with Bola Ray on the same channel. She resigned as co-host in 2012.

Her depth experience gained over the years is expected to be an asset to drive her purpose at her new role at Megastar International.
