Stonebwoy, Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall and reggae artiste is reported to have parted ways with Zylofon Music after signing onto Zylofon Media's record label less than a year.
According to an insider, Zylofon Media has decided to annul the multi-billion cedis contract due to ‘insubordination and misconduct’ on the part of the Afropop, dancehall and reggae artiste Stonebwoy.
On Friday, March 9, 2018, the official Instagram account for Zylofon Music unfollowed the Stonebwoy reducing the total number of Zylofon Music's following on Instagram to nine.Â
Prime News checks indicate that the Zylofon Music's Instagram account still follows all the musicians signed on the record label – Shatta Wale, Becca, Kumi Guitar, Obibini and Joyce Blessing.
It is believed that a major contributing factor to the unrest between Zylofon Media and Stonebwoy is as a result of a comment made by Stonebwoy days after he visited accident victims in the Korle Bu Teaching and paid the medical bills of patients worth more than Ghc5,000.
In a Snapchat video, Stonbwoy is reported to have said he won’t spend his money buying cars for friends like one guy with a big mouth does.
Despite the fact that, Stonebwoy didn’t mention Shatta Wale’s name directly in the post, he deleted his video a few minutes later after concerned fans claimed he was referring to Shatta Wale.
In a mild response, the self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale said in a Facebook post it is unfortunate 'they pretend to be rich in the eyes of his friends but ignore their needs and give absurd excuses that he doesn’t fancy buying cars for fans and friends like others do.

Meanwhile, Prime News has gathered that Stonebwoy on March 10, 2018, fired a warning shot at Champs Bar when a bunch of Zylofon Media Staff led by BullDog tried to forcefully take away a Mercedes Benz that was given to him as part of his contract with Zylofon Music.
However, amidst all the fracas,  speaking on Accra-based Peace FM on March 10, 2018, the PRO of Zylofon Media debunked the media reports.
The Public Relations Officer, Sammy Flex insisted that he is at lost with media reports surrounding Stonebwoy’s business relationship with his record label, Zylofon Media. “There is no issue between Stonebwoy and Zylofon media. I’m even confused with the kind of news circulating that Zylofon has parted ways with Stonebwoy,â€Â
