The management team of singer King Promise have, explained why he failed to perform at the Wildaland Concert.
According to one Erasmus, who is a member of the management team, they feared there will be issues with final payments after the show.
He added that some of the signees in their camp who performed at the event are yet to be paid.
“As we speak now, R2bees, the final part of the contract for performing at the Wildaland Festival has not been paid yet. That’s what we wanted to prevent with King Promise”, Erasmus told Hitz FM.
He also added that the management team never finalised the negotiations with the organisers of the event.
The management team had wanted a full agreement before they allow their artiste to work with anyone.
“It’s not like King Promise was paid and he failed to turn up at the Wildaland Festival. We never finalized the negotiations Wo the organizers of the event," Erasmus said.

“We’ve moved past just booking artistes for events via phone calls. Full agreement has to be reached first, contracts are supposed to be signed and all," he emphasised.
Recently, the CEO of 3 Music Awards, Baba Sadiq, called out some artistes who rant about lack of support but failed to show up at his Wildaland Festival.
According to him, he’s no longer going to be part of any King Promise agenda and will not put him on any show he organizes and non of his videos are not going to be played on his TV station.
Baba Sadiq emphasized that his decision comes as a result of the constant abuse he’s suffered from the singer and his management though he’s been there for them in the entertainment industry.
This came up after he initially took to the gram to accuse King Promise of failing him and not showing up at his Wildaland Festival despite the agreement they had.
