The 11 Democracy Hub protestors who appeared in court Wednesday have been remanded into police custody.

They are expected to reappear in court on Thursday, September 26, 2024.

All of them pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit the crime.

This brings the total number of demonstrators the Accra Circuit Court remanded to 50.

Lead Convenor of Democracy Hub, Oliver Barker-Vormawor, and Funny Otoo could not appear before the court yesterday, as Police indicated both were ill and receiving medical attention.
