Keta Senior High School has progressed to the next level of the 2018 National Science and Maths Quiz, after defeating Archbishop Porter Girls' SHS and Koforidua Senior Technical School.
 Despite cheers and a great performance from both schools at the quarter-final stage, Keta Senior High School won the contest with a 4-point difference.
Eastern Regional representatives, Koforidua Secondary Technical School trailed with 23 points, Archbishop Porter Girls' SHS scored 28 points, while Keta SHS qualified to the semi-final stage with 32 points.
Keta SHS will, therefore, clash with their regional counterparts Mawuli School at the next stage.
With the introduction of GCB Bank's Money Zone, each point of the competing schools at the quarter-final stage is worth Five Ghana Cedis(GHS5), which will be paid out to each of the three competitors and their teacher.
Keta SHS has therefore been awarded GH640 from GCB Bank Ltd and an additional GHS500 from Bond Savings and Loans, while Archbishop Porters and K.S.T.S are returning home with GHS560 and GHS460 respectively.
The Quarter-finals stage will end on Saturday, June 30 for the semi-finals stage to begin on July 2, 2018.
The Grand Finale of the NSMQ 2018 will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018.
