The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of Ghana Police Service has written to the Manager of Accra FM requesting a video and a presenter in connection with the shooting prank staged by Shatta Wale.
The police investigators want the video of a programme aired last month and the host of the programme, Romeo Nana Ansah released to them by Friday, October 22, 2021, at 10:00 am.
On September 28, 2021, Bishop Stephen Akwasi is popularly known as Jesus Ahoufe prophesied during a programme hosted by Nana Ansah that a popular dancehall artiste will die on October 18, 2021.
Jesus Ahoufe told Nana Romeo in the live streamed 'Ayekoo' show that he saw a Reggae Artiste lose his life through a gunshot during a robbery attack.
The pastor compared what happened in South Africa to Lucky Dube on October 18, 2007, to what he claims God revealed to him.
The pastor didn’t mention any name in full but said the name Charles was revealed to him.
Shatta Wale is known in private life as Charles Nii Amarh Mensah.
Other descriptions of the self-acclaimed prophet matched Shatta Wale's profile, according to many that commented on the issue.
Police investigators want to know if the prophet was in the dastardly shooting-to-death prank Shatta Wale has confessed to masterminding.
The letter from the CID reads as follows:
