The General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Dr Paul Yaw Frimpong-Manso is bereaved and is set to bury his mother Obaapanin Mary Pokuaa alias Akosua Nkrumah this weekend at Fufuo near Barekese, Ashanti Region.

Obaapanin was 98 years old and will be buried at the St. Peters Catholic Church Cemetery on Saturday, October 15.

Rather bizarrely the Dr. Frimpong-Manso also has to contend with the loss of his sister. Certainly losing two loved ones at a go can be tasking and one could only imagine the profound sadness which has engulfed the preacher man.

Described as a soldier in the faith, other Christian leaders and members are set to help in mourning his mother and offer her a befitting burial.
