The Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah has taken a short detour from his campaign tour of the Upper West Region to inspect a critical market project being undertaken by the government of President Mahama in the Wa Municipality.
The projects which include the construction of GhC965,553.00 24 unit two-storey stores, with 12 wash rooms, linked with a sky a bridge with a well paved open space/forecourt, also includes three other three market stores projects each of which costs GhC398,000.00.
The first part, which is complete and expected to be handed over next week will, according to the planning officer, enhance commercial activity for the people of the catchment area. The other three will be completed in November.
