The Ghana Police Service confirmed the death of the four missing Takoradi girls on Monday, September 16, 2019.
However, families of the missing girls in Takoradi have stated that they will not accept the DNA results by the Police that indicates that the human remains which were found at the residence of the main suspect at Kasawrodo in the Western region are that of their relatives.
