Families of the missing girls in Takoradi say they will not accept the DNA results that indicate that the human remains which were found at the residence of the main suspect is matched to that of their wards.
According to them, they want foreign experts to carry out the DNA test instead of what the Ghana police has done.
Speaking on behalf of the families and residents at a news conference at Diabene a suburb in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis in the Western Region of Ghana John Entsie said:Â
''The police coming to tell us they have discovered a set of bones believed to be that of the missing girls is a cock and bull story. The sympathizers of the family will not accept the DNA test. We are urging international communities to come in as soon as possible.
''We want the police to arm themselves because we are coming unannounced. We are not going to be armed but they should armed themselves because they have proven to us that they have the powers to protect ballot boxes than the lives of ordinary Ghanaians. We will take the law into our own hands and do what we please''.
The spokesperson for the families and residents indicated that if the President wants the family and residents at large to believe that his are hands clean in the development, he should pay heed to them and do the needful.
''What we are demanding now from the President is that if he wants us to trust him he has no hands in the kidnapping or alleged murder of this case, as a matter of urgency arrest and prosecute CID Ametepe who aided the first suspect to break cells.
''We want him to arrest and prosecute Commander Ofori Donkor and the immediate resignation of Madam Tiwaa Addo Danquah and Bryan Acheampong to be arrested and prosecuted''.
Again, the affected families at the news conference said they never saw the remains neither were the DNA report shown to them before the announcement by the IGP.

They have issued a one-week ultimatum to the police administration to release the said report to the families to enable them to carry out their own independent test or incur their wrath.
Meanwhile, speaking to Starr FM, a security analyst Rtd Colonel Festus Aboagye backed the calls for another test to be conducted on the remains of the kidnapped Takoradi girls
''The acting IGP said the investigative team should be commended, commended for what? The statement by the IGP didn't tell us the circumstances which the girls were killed. There are so many issues surrounding this and hasn't been explained ,I have difficulty to accept what the police are saying. I stand by my view that the families should reserve the right and go for an independent opinion''.
The acting Inspector-General of Police, James Oppong Boanuh, on Monday confirmed that results of DNA tests conducted on some human parts exhumed in a house in Takoradi are that of the four missing girls.
