A former student of Chemu Secondary School, a second cycle institution based in Tema Community 4, has given the school a much-needed financial support, to help with this year’s Maths and Science Quiz as well as the athletics team.

He gave out a cheque of TEN THOUSAND CEDIS to the school, and promised to do whatever he can within his might, to support the school.

Speaking about what motivated him to reach out to his former school, Mr. Dogbe said, he and his team will be announcing other support programs like laptops, wifi and general technology tools, to enable the less fortunate access these basic but essential services as part of their educational growth.

“Additionally, giving back to my community can bring about a sense of fulfilment and satisfaction in knowing that I am making a positive impact in my home country as God Almighty is blessing me.”

Since moving to the United States almost 20 years ago, Mr. Dogbe has made significant contributions into the lives of institutions and individuals. The recently commissioned cyber security centre also offers life changing learning skills for teenagers in the area, to ground them in the studies of the trends emerging in the field of technology.
