The production team of the popular news analysis show on Joy FM/Joy News TV, Newsfile has rejected the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) representative on the show for not meeting their requirements.

Saturday's show which was to discuss matters including the first 100 days of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's government had the NPP presenting Eugene Nana Boakye, Deputy Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS) as their discussant.

But according to information primenewsghana gathered, the show's production team deemed Nana Boakye as below the standard of discussants on the the show which included regular panelist, Managing Editor of the Crusading Guide, Abdul-Malik Kweku Baako; former Deputy Attorney General and Member of Parliament for Bolga East, Dr Dominic Ayine; and Dean of Graduate Studies and Research at the Institute of Local Government Studies, Dr Eric Oduro Osae.

The decision angered many NPP supporters who took to social media to criticise the show's host, Samson Lardy Ayenini.

The Newsfile programme is arguably the best radio/television programme of its calibre and has hosted some of the very best panelists who have discussed matters of national interest.
