The brother of the late President John Atta Mills has dismissed claims by his nephew that the family have been left in the dark about the cause of death of the former president, five years on.
According to the MP for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem, Samuel Atta Mills, it is not true that the family do not have the autopsy report as claimed by the only child of the former president.

Kofi Sam Atta Mills at a wreath laying ceremony to mark five years after his father's passing in Accra on Monday, lamented the inability of the 37 Military Hospital to make available to the family the autopsy report of his father. He further revealed he will lend support to anyone willing to investigate the cause of the Professor's demise.
But speaking on JoyFM, the MP for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem said at the time Prof. Mill passed on, five years ago, Kofi Sam Atta Mills was young and even the issue about autopsy has never been a topic of discussion in the family.Â
He urged his nephew to approach the elders of the family if he needs any information about the death of his father.
