Ernest Tetteh, a 25-year-old man from Manya Kpongunor, has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for stealing musical instruments from two churches in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal area.

The Odumase Krobo District Court handed down the verdict on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

Tetteh was arrested on Sunday, July 14, 2024, following an investigation prompted by complaints from The Life of Christ Ministry and Christian Vision International Church.

He was apprehended at his shop in Abanse after attempting to sell four GSL speakers stolen from The Life of Christ Ministry’s Nuaso Odjadornya temple.

Two individuals suspected of being accomplices to Tetteh are currently in custody at Koletso Police Station, pending further investigation and potential charges.

The convict was sent to Akuse Prisons to begin his jail term after successfully receiving a COVID vaccination on Wednesday afternoon.
