The heavy downpour that hit parts of the Greater Accra Region on Monday, October 8, is expected to continue in other parts of the country, according to the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMA).
“There will be more rains today in parts of the country. It will end round 4pm in parts of the countryâ€, the GMA Duty Forecaster at the Kotoka International Airport, David Owusu Kessi, told PrimeNewsGhana on Monday.
The heavy downpour started around 3am on Monday. Several areas in the Accra Metropolis got flooded.
Mr. Owusu Kessi said “the weather will be cloudy and several places will experience rains so those in the mountainous areas should be careful when drivingâ€.
“Flight visibility is clearâ€, he added.
