President John Mahama will embark on a “Thank You Tour” to the Western Region today, Wednesday, February 5, 2025.
The visit marks the second edition of the nationwide tour that began last week in the Volta region.
This was contained in a press release issued by the Western Regional Communications Bureau of the National Democratic Congress, signed by the Regional Communications Officer Mr Richard Kirk-Mensah.
As part of the tour, he will make a stop in Sekondi today, where a grand event is scheduled to take place at Sekondi Methodist Park at 2 PM.
The event is expected to draw thousands of supporters, party executives, and government officials who will join the President in celebrating the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s victory.
Following the Western Region visit, the President will head to the Central Region tomorrow, where another event will be held at Jubilee Park in Cape Coast at 2 PM.
The gathering in Cape Coast is anticipated to be just as vibrant, with residents and party faithful expected to show up in large numbers to welcome the President.
