The bodies of four persons believed to have drowned in last Monday's floods in Accra are decomposing in the Odaw River.

The bodies are in such a bad state nearly one week after workers and traders around said they spotted the bodies.

Two of the bodies are located near the Neoplan station where contractors are desilting the drains while the other two, including a woman are on each side of the railway crossing bridge linking Adabraka and Neoplan station from the Graphic Road.

An elderly artisan at the nearby Odorna garages who asked for anonymity said people stay away from reporting such incidents which usually follow heavy rains and floods to avoid being made police witnesses and court attendants.

When reached on the phone, the police at Adabraka said no one had yet reported the incident to the station.
