A former National Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Yaw Boateng Gyan has refuted claims that the final rally held by the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP)yesterday , has dazed the foundation of the ruling NDC party as a result of multitudes of people who were at the rally grounds.

The opposition New Patriotic Party yesterday organized its final rally dubbed “The Battle is the Lord’s” at the International Trade Centre in Accra where thousands of supporters joined to mark the climax of the party’s campaign ahead of December polls.

According to Yaw Boateng Gyan, the colossal crowd that stormed the opposition party’s rally yesterday is deceptive and any serious politician will not bag his or her hopes on the crowd to necessitate election victory. He added that Ghanaians are going to vote on a number of reasons and voters have already made up their minds.

He stated categorically that ‘’ even if the results are contested and recounted and election organized for five times, President Mahama will still win the polls.’’

Adding that ‘’By the end of the election, President Mahama will win by a one touch victory. Majority of Ghanaians are rooting for Mahama. They want him to retain his seat so he continues to do his good works. He has invested heavily in infrastructure and the people and so he will win this year’s election by a landslide victory, ‘’

Responding to comments by some critics of President Mahama over claims that he’s done little despite the enormous resources made available to him. He emphasized that such individuals are only engaging in political propaganda, bias and have failed to appreciate the efforts of President Mahama..
