Osu Castle is a museum, not a security zone- Museums and Monuments Board

The Ghana Museums and Monuments Board has come out to debunk reports that the Christianborg Castle also know as the Osu Castle is a security zone.

In a press statement signed by the acting Executive Director of Museums and Monuments Board, Mr. Kingsley Ofosu Ntiamoah, the Osu Castle on March 5th, 2017 was declared a Presidential Museum by President Akufo-Addo.

He added the Military and security sensitivities associated with the Osu Castle has been withdrawn and it is now like the Cape Coast and Elmina Castle.
