Over 7,000 Ghanaians to face deportation from the US.

The United States will in the coming days deport over 7,000 Ghanaians for breaching the terms of their visa agreement.

The Ghanaians according to the US ambassador to Ghana, Robert Jackson, have over stayed their permits in the States.

Speaking to the media in the Brong Ahafo region on Thursday, the ambassador said the individuals are currently at different stages of their deportation process.

“In fact about 7000 of them are currently at different stages of the deportation process, and we are not apologetic about that.”

This comes on the heels of the recent visa fraud allegations leveled against some members of parliament by the British High Commission in Ghana.
