A fire broke out at The Honeysuckle Pub and Restaurant in Labone, Accra, on Saturday, October 26, around 5 p.m., impacting parts of the popular venue.
Thanks to a swift response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the flames were contained primarily within the restaurant’s kitchen, preventing broader damage to the establishment.
GNFS officers arrived quickly and worked efficiently to control the fire and limit its spread. Officials from the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) also attended the scene, disconnecting power to prevent potential reignition and ensure the responders’ safety.
Assistant Division Officer Alex King Nartey later provided an update on the incident via the Fire Service’s official Facebook page, commending the effective coordination between GNFS and ECG in securing the premises.
According to him, no injury was recorded
