Priests from the Volta Region yesterday took Kumasi by storm when they performed several mind-boggling magic as part of events marking the funeral of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
Reports say the priests turned stones into yam and performed other "miracles" that stunned spectators at the funeral.
One of magic they performed involved making an empty rafia stack dance all by itself.
The powerful display of spiritual prowess on the part of the Ewe priests has got many Ghanaians talking on social media.
"Ah! These my Ewe pipos. Small funeral, small culture, there norr Zangbeto come inside? Asante pipos dey scare right now oooo! You spoil plenty brodas themma plans," Facebook user, Selorm Branttie, noted.
Meanwhile, the Asantehemaa will be buried tonight.
Residents have been asked to stay indoors from 7pm till 4am on Friday, as her body makes its way to the Bantama Mausoleum (Ban mu) and later to the Breman Mausoleum for burial.
