The Ghana Police Service administration has announced that some fifty-eight (58) junior officers in some deprived communities in the country have been promoted.

This was made known by the administration through their various social media channels.

They explained that the promotion is to motivate officers to accept postings to all parts of the country where their services are needed.

It is also in recognition of their hard work and dedication to duty.

"The IGP, Mr James Oppong – Boanuh has stated that officers who work hard will be awarded for their hard work wherever they are serving from," the statement said.

“Officers will not be left to rot in deprived areas. All officers will have to taste city and village life at one time or the other” he said.
