President John Mahama on Monday inspected works on the Upper East Regional Hospital in Bolagatanga, the regional capital.
Expressing his satisfaction with the progress of work so far, President Mahama who is in the region on a campaign tour disclosed that “the Saudi government has approved another tranche of financing, which will cover equipment and the Phase Two of the hospital".
The hospital which is said to be bout 95 percent complete will have facilities such as dental, imaging, pharmacy, accident and emergency, intensive care, ENT, eye, mental health, public health, and herbal medicine units.
