The New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are set to hold their final campaign rallies ahead of the December 7 elections.

Both events are scheduled for Thursday, December 5, in Accra, with venues a mere 5 kilometres apart.

The NPP’s rally will be held at the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon, while the NDC’s event is set to take place at Zurak Park in Madina.

The NDC’s rally, themed “Resetting Ghana – Let’s Finish Strong!” will be held at Zurak Park in Madina at noon.

Meanwhile, the NPP will host its “Possibilities Victory Rally” at the UG Sports Directorate Park, opposite the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The event is set to showcase the achievements of the Akufo-Addo administration and reinforce the party’s vision under the presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Key figures expected at the rally include President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, former President John Agyekum Kufuor, and running mate Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.

NPP National Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye in a statement described the event as a “historic programme” designed to energise supporters and sway last-minute undecided voters.

The NPP is banking on its record in economic management, infrastructure development, and social interventions to convince Ghanaians to extend its mandate.

The NDC National Communications Officer, Mr. Sammy Gyamfi in a statement described the rally as an epoch-making event aimed at energizing the party’s base and emphasizing their agenda for governance.

He invited party faithful, sympathisers, and the general public to participate in what he promised would be a defining moment in the campaign.

The rally is expected to focus on the NDC’s vision to address economic challenges, tackle corruption, and provide what the party calls “a fresh start” for the country under Mahama’s leadership.
