President Akufo-Addo has congratulated the newly elected President of the United States of America, Donald Trump.
In a statement, Ghana’s President said the victory of Donald Trump speaks volumes about the confidence the American voters have in him and his vision for the country.
He indicated that the relationship between Ghana and the United States of America has deep roots built on mutual respect, shared values, and commitment to freedom and democracy.
He expressed hope that the leadership of Trump will further deepen the relationship between the US and Ghana.
He was also hopeful Ghana and the US will continue to work together or collaborate in solving some of the challenges confirming the world.
President Akufo-Addo added that Ghana stands ready to work alongside Trump and his administration.
