The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended the deadline for the submission of nomination forms for its national executive elections by two weeks.
The decision, according to General Secretary of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, follows an advice by the Council of Elders of the party at its emergency meeting.
This means the September 5 deadline has now been extended to September 19, 2018.
Asiedu Nketia, during a media interaction at the NDC’s Headquarters in Accra, also announced that the Council of Elders have also advised that the delegates’ conference be held on November 3, 2018, at the Accra International Trade Fair Centre.
