The New Patriotic Party (NPP) have extended the mandate of their regional executives whose regions were divided to preside over activities in the newly created regions.
The NPP in a release on February 18, 2019, signed by General Secretary John Boadu said the current regional executives should see to activities in the new regions namely North East, Savanna, Bono East, Ahafo, Western North and Oti regions.
The party howver said they will soon come out with guidelines and modalities on how substantive executives will be selected/elected to occupy the “vacant†regional executive committee positions.

NPP EXTENDS THE MANDATE OF SERVING REGIONAL EXECUTIVES TO COVER NEWLY CREATED REGIONS WHERE APPLICABLE
The NPP, by this notice, extends the mandate of current regional executives of the party in the regions that have been affected by the recent regional reorganization, comprising the Northern, Brong Ahafo, Western and Volta Regions.
The current regional executives of these regions shall, accordingly, exercise jurisdiction in the newly created regions, consisting of North East, Savanna, Bono East, Ahafo, Western North and Oti regions, as applicable.
The party will, however, soon come out with guidelines and modalities on how substantive executives will be selected/elected to occupy the “vacant†regional executive committee positions.
