Radio and TV host, Confidence Baah whose death broke on October 16, has had his one week memorial service held for him as Akan tradition demands.

The memorial service which was held on Sunday drew in many well-wishers, relatives, colleagues, politicians, journalists, entertainers and fans including Chief Executive Officer of Kessben Group of Companies, Stephen Boateng and hundreds of people who could not hide their grief as they mourned the fallen communicator at the Kumasi Jubilee Park.

Confidence Baah was pronounced dead on arrival at the Effiduase Government Hospital a week ago after he was found unconscious in his room by his aunt after spending the night with his girlfriend Afua Birago who has since been picked up by the police to aid with investigations.

Initial report suggests the ‘Breaking News’ and Kessben TV Morning Show host may have died of asphyxiation by food particles although certain parts have been forwarded to Accra for further test. Asphyxiation is a condition where the body either does not get enough oxygen to continue normal function or has too much carbon dioxide to function properly leading to death.

Confidence Baah is expected to be buried on November 25, in Kumasi.
