Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has cut sod for a Six hundred (600), capacity bed girls’ dormitory and housemistress’ block for Tamale Senior High School (Tamasco) in the Northern region.
Dr Bawumia at the ceremony urged parents and students to embrace the opportunity provided by the Free SHS policy of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
He said it is a golden opportunity to position Ghana and the North in particular on the path of growth and development and emphasised government’s commitment to add to continuing efforts as a nation to promote education and making sure that poverty is no longer an excuse for any Ghanaian child not to reach their full potential.
