A former managing director of the Great Consolidated Diamond(GCD) Company, Kwaku Antwi Addai Boasiako has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer of the Minerals Commission by President Akufo-Addo.
He replaces Dr. Toni Aubynn who announced his departure to the staff of the Minerals Commission on Monday, August 21. He is expected to commence work next week.

Mr. Boasiako comes into office with many years of experience in the mining sector, having served as Head of HR for West Africa Ashanti Goldfields limited between 2004 and 2005.
He is currently the managing partner of AvidHR solutions, a consultancy firm.
