Zambia Women National team, She-polopolo have set World Cup qualification as their target at the 2018Â AWCON set for Ghana between November 17th and December 1st.
Head Coach Bruce Mwape reiterated the teams intentions to qualify for the 2019 France FIFA Women's World Cup during a press briefing at football house on Tuesday.
"Our first target is to qualify for the World Cup," Mwape said.
The top three teams will automatically book their places at the World Cup.
Zambia are drawn in group B alongside record Champions Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya.
Mwape, who declared the squad ready for battle, has made a few changes from the team that competed at the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations Championship in South Africa where the She-polopolo finished fourth in September.
