Kenya Football Federation (KFF) have promised a financial package to the Harambee Stars ahead of AFCON 2019 slated for  June 21-July 2.
According to the president of KFF, Nick Mwendwa each member of the playing body is assured of Sh7million in every victory at AFCON 2019 and should they do the unthinkable and win the tournament there is a major financial boost for them.
He added that the deal is to motivate the national team as they return to Africa’s biggest football stage after 15-year absence.
“There will be about Sh7million to be paid to the team for every match they win in Egypt. Should they win the tournament, the players will earn a bonus of Sh120million excluding money from the organisers.
“We have been assured by the government that the Sh240million we requested will be available this week to enable us pay for the camp in France and other preparations,†said Mwendwa.
The Harambee Stars will play as guest to Ghana in the final match of Group F AFCON 2019 encounter on Saturday, March 23.
Both teams have already qualified for the prestigious 32nd edition of AFCON 2019 tournament to be staged in Egypt from June 21 - July 19 following the decision by CAF to omit Sierra Leone from the group due to their inability to honour their last 3 matches.
Ghana will be seeking to revenge a 1-0 defeat they suffered to Kenya at the Moi International Sports Centre in the first leg of the AFCON qualification.
