The Black Stars will tonight take on Comoros at Roumde Adjia Stadium, Garoua in a must-win game for a place in AFCON 2021 knockout phase.
The Black Stars, who are on the brink of a shock early exit from the tournament, need all three points to keep their qualification chances alive after earning a point out of a possible six in their opening two games.

Despite losing their two opening games, 1-0 to Gabon and 2-0 to Morocco, Comoros had gained the respect of many at the ongoing AFCON 2021.
Showing passion and determination at their very first AFCON appearance, Comoros had a lot to gain even if they haven’t won or scored to the moment.
Against Ghana, they will fight for more and why not record their maiden points and goals in the history of the tournament.
This will be the first encounter between Ghana and Comoros at the AFCON.

Primenews went out to speak to some Ghanaians about their expectations ahead of the 7:00 pm encounter at the Roumde Adjia Stadium, Garoua.
Meanwhile, Boubou Traore has been appointed as Referee for Ghana’s last Group match against Comoros. Bobou, a 36 – year old referee from Mali will be assisted by Issa Yaya from Chad (Assistant I), Mahamadou Yahaya Gado from Niger (Assistant II) and Issa SY from Senegal (Fourth Official).
The Confederation of African Football has also appointed Youssouf Guedi Guirreh from Djibouti as the Match Commissioner while Ali Mohamed Ahmed from Somalia serves as Referee Assessor.
