Asante Kotoko's Ashanti Regional chairman Benjamin Obeng Sekyere has disclosed that enemies of the club have placed striker Sogne Yacouba under a spell.
His comment comes in the wake of Yacouba's goal-scoring drought for the Porcupines in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Â
The Burkinabe import fluffed his lines in Wednesday's game against Zesco United, missing two sitters in the first and second department of the game.
Â
And this Obeng Sekyere believes it is as a result of someone who wants the striker to fail at the club and he is embarking on a campaign to raise funds to spiritually set free the striker.
Â
"We're starting a silver collection towards raising GHC3,000 to set Sogne Yacouba free spiritually.
Â
"We've enough evidence someone who doesn't have Yacouba and Asante Kotoko at heart has cast a spell to prevent him from scoring - Obeng Sekyere said on Kumasi-based Sikka Sports
Â
Â
Sogne Yacouba has however registered 5 assists for Asante Kotoko in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup.
