The Black Stars of Ghana will play reigning African champions Algeria in an international friendly ahead of AFCON 2021.
Ghana will soon begin preparations for the AFCON 2021 tournament which will start on January 9, 2022 in Cameroon.
The Black Stars will camp in Qatar where they will sharpen their arsenals for the AFCON tournament which Ghana is looking to win for the first time in four decades.
Since last winning the African Cup of Nations title in 1982, Ghana has come very close three times finishing second in 1992, 2010 and 2015 and will be hoping to banish their AFCON demons in Cameroon.
Ghana has been paired alongside Morocco, Comoros and Gabon in Group C.

Algeria are currently unbeaten in their 33 matches in all competitions and clear favourites to defend their title when the tournament begins in January.
The last meeting between Ghana and the Fennec Foxes was in AFCON 2015 where Ghana won 1-0 courtesy Asamoah Gyan's strike.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has dismissed rumours that next month AFCON could be moved away from Cameroon following the recent discovery of the new Omicron variant of Covid-19.
CAF's director of communications Alex Siewe says neither his organisation nor leading Cameroon officials have discussed such events.
"We can't keep spending time dealing with rumours," he told BBC Sport Africa.
"We did not receive any other message or information from our leaders - nothing such as changing of dates or countries. We did not discuss such during all our last meetings."
