The spokesperson for FIFA/CAF liaison team, Dan Kweku Yeboah has confirmed that the winning bonus of the Black Stars of Ghana is unchanged at $5,000 per player.
The Liaison team spokesperson has come out to clarify the bonus issue as Black Stars of Ghana lock horns with Kenya in Nairobi in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier.
The Black Stars previously earn $10,000 as winning bonus, however, the winning bonus have been slashed by 50 percent, -$5,000 when the ruling government, New Patriotic Party assumed office.

Dan Kwaku Yeboah, who is the Liaison team spokesperson, in an interview with Oyerepa FM confirmed that the bonus remained unchanged.
"The players will be given $5,000 as winning bonus. The government has made it clear to us (Liaison team) that the players will be given a cheque of cedi equivalent to the amount ($5,000)"
"But the only physical cash the players will receive is the per diem," The Liaison team spokesperson said.
