Ghana's sole representative in Africa, Aduana Stars have qualified to the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup despite a 2-1 defeat to Fosa Juniors in Madagascar.
Aduana qualified 7-3 on aggregate following their convincing 6-1 victory in the first leg 10 days ago.
The Dormaa-based club have thus achieved their target of reaching the money zone on their second attempt.
They suffered a premature exit in their first Africa expedition.
Nathaniel Asamoah scored in the 68th minute to end Fosa’s faint hopes of staging a miraculous comeback.
The hosts were 2-0 up at the time and three more would have sealed their place at Aduana’s expense.
