Head coach of Zesco United coach George Lwandamina has forewarned Asante Kotoko that football supporters are like "prostitutes'' and in order to retain them you need to be at the top of your game.
Asante Kotoko are scheduled to play Zambian side Zesco United in matchday two of the CAF Confederation Cup at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday, February 13 at 1:00 pm.Â
The Reds will be looking to redeem their image after losing 1-0 to Al Hilal whilst Zesco United will be seeking to continue from where they left off by adding Asante Kotoko to their victims after beating Nkana FC 2-0 in the opening game.
As part of efforts to win their first game in the CAF Confederation Cup, the Dr Kwame Kyei led management is embarking on a publicity drive to bring supporters to the stadium.Â
But according to George Lwandamina, his outfit is unperturbed and won't be intimated by the large crowd at the Baba Yara Stadium, although the Porcupine Warriors management have launched operation fill Baba Yara Stadium.but he will rather organize his outfit to play an attractive brand of football to win over his rival supporters.
"Supporters are like 'Prostitutes' you win them when you play well and lose them when you are not performing."Â George Lwandamina spoke on Kumasi based Nhyira FM.
"We are coming to play good football and see where the supporters are."Â

Zesco United top Group C with 3points followed by Al Hilal in the second position with 3points whilst Asante Kotoko and Nkana FC lie third and fourth with 0 points respectively.Â
