The Communications Director for Asante Kotoko SC, Sarfo Duku has suggested that the club has put in the necessary work to assure a victory against Zesco United in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors started on less positive in the abovementioned campaign after suffering a 1-0 defeat in their Group C opening game against Al Hilal on Sunday, January 27 in Omdurman.Â
However, as the Ghanaians gear up for the second match of the group against table toppers Zesco United, Sarfo Duku suggested that there is nothing to fear as management are working earnestly to ensure they return to winning ways in the competition when they welcome the Zambian heavyweights to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday, February 13.Â
"Zesco is a good side and capable to surprise us but we are putting measures in place to win," Duku told Ultimate FM.
"Their victory doesn't put any fear in us because they're beatable, though a difficult side to play with."
"Management will do whatever it is for us to win and we will urge the players to play their hearts out for our first home game."
