Sports Pundit/Analyst, Evangelist Kofi Appiah has slammed Ghanaian strikers Raphael Dwamena and Majeed Waris for their performances in Ghana's 1-0 defeat to Kenya.
The Hamrabee of Kenya beat Ghana 1-0 in a 2019 Afcon qualifier in Nairobi and the Black Stars wasted several good chances.
Waris and Dwamena had some good chances but could not bury them and the sports journalist has tagged them "Useless" in front of goal.
"Dwamena and Waris are useless in front of goal, a half-fit Asamoah Gyan is better than them, they had chances that every striker should convert but could not," he said on Asempa FM's morning show.
"To me, they are both useless at the moment"
Kofi Appiah also hinted on Kwadwo Asamoah's return and said his presence made no difference in the team.
"Kwadwo Asamoah's return was not profitable at all, he barely made an impact" he added.
The Black Stars were stunned by a first-half own goal from Nicholas Opoku and will need to win their next qualifier against Sierra Leone in October to get back on track.
